As we are approaching into a “new” normal we have dedicated a lot of time in defining what we can do to make our hotels as comfortable and safe as possible for you, while keeping the welcome spirit and agreeable atmosphere alive. Our guests are our most valuable asset. The well-being and safety of you and our employees are more important than ever to us. Therefore, we have developed safety guidelines and hygienic measurements that guarantee you will have a worry-free time when staying with us. We are following the advices and use the products recommended by WHO and Italian Ministry of Health.

In the past, the excitement of living the unknown, the curiosity to discover new cities, and the love for authentic experiences has united the world – and we trust it will in the future. Today it’s different. We are aware that planning a trip and a stay in a hotel right now puts customers in front of many unknowns. Appropriate health and safety gear
We regularly use Personal Protective Equipment to ensure the health and safety of guests and employees.

We enforced safe distancing measures as precaution. Recommended minimum of one-meter distance for interactions between guests and/or employees.

Sanitizers are available in the contact areas.

We have increased focus on the importance of good hand hygiene procedures for our team members.

We developed housekeeping checklists.

Hotel Linen is washed at high temperature following the advices of WHO and Italian Ministry of Health. Linen sis transferred directly from the plastic bag into the washing machine. Hampers or other carts for transporting laundry are cleaned and disinfected.

Our personal is instructed to touch hotel guests’ linen only after having changed the gloves used for cleaning.

Our personal removes gloves after finishing room cleaning and starting cleaning a new room. Strict hand hygiene is observed.

At each departure, the room and the bathroom and in particular all surfaces of major contact are completely sanitized. We thoroughly air before starting cleaning to ensure the replacement and good air quality.

Air conditioning is sanitized weekly. Common areas are frequently and regularly aired to ensure the replacement and good air quality.

High-contact points in the common areas are frequently and regularly sanitized. We provide clean and disinfected key cards upon check-in.

We use products with disinfectant action against Covid19 recommended by WHO and the Italian Ministry of Health.

Your health and safety is of the utmost importance to us.
We have increased focus on the importance of good hand hygiene procedures for our team members.
Our staff has has been instructed in relation to the new procedures and service standards required by the security protocol. They are following detailed hygiene and housekeeping regulations, completing enhanced Covid-19 awareness trainings and has access to all the necessary information. Hand-sanitiser dispensers are at staff disposal, as well as face masks and gloves. Our employees are encouraged to protect their personal health and the health of others. They are advised to respect safe distancing and avoid hand shaking. Every object given in use to our customers like room keys are disinfected before handing it out.
High-contact points like front desk are frequently and regularly sanitised. The use of disinfectants for
sanitisation of contact points and working tools like computer and telephone is mandatory. We use checklists to control that the protocols are implemented correctly .
We make regular use of Personal Protective Equipment, to ensure the health and safety of guests and employees. Cleaning personal must use face masks and gloves. Our cleaning personal is instructed to use particular care performing cleaning, laundry, and trash pickup activities. They are instructed how to use personal protective equipment (PPE), what PPE is necessary, how to properly don (put on), use, and doff (take off) PPE, and how to properly dispose of PPE. Our staff is trained on the hazards of the cleaning chemicals, the type of products and how to use them in accordance with the Guidance for Cleaning and Disinfecting. Toilets are cleaned with separate cleaning equipment. Cleaning cloths and are disinfected after each use or substituted by disposable cleaning cloths. Gloves should be removed after cleaning a room, trash pickup activities and in any case whenever whenever staff come into contact with clean linen.

Sanitization of our linen items.

Bed and bath linen is washed and sanitized at high temperature and disinfected with recommended products, following the guidelines of WHO and Italian Ministry of Health. Our personal is instructed to touch guests’ linen only after having removed the gloves used for cleaning, washed their hands and after putting on clean gloves. Carts used to carry both soiled and clean linen are properly sanitized after unloading and before reloading with cleaned goods. Linen closets are properly sanitized. Cleaned linen items are delivered to our hotels sealed in vacuum packaging.

High-touch surface cleanliness in guestrooms: ordinary and extraordinary sanitization.

COVID-19 has raised awareness about the importance of high-touch surface cleanliness. In guest rooms, we enforced cleaning protocols, requiring that all surfaces are thoroughly cleaned with disinfectants with a particular attention on high-touch points, such as door and furniture handles, light switches, remote controls, television. The disinfectants used are based on 70% alcohol, 0.5% hydrogen peroxide, or Quaternary Ammonium Compounds (QACs) recommended by the Italian Ministry of Health and WHO. After cleaning the bathroom with water and soap, surfaces such as toilets, bidets, taps, shelves and mirrors are disinfected with 0.5% sodium hypochlorite products recommended by the Italian Ministry of Health and WHO.

Personalized cleaning schedule

Room cleaning is of the utmost importance for us. If guest stays more than one night (stopover), we provide daily cleaning of the rooms. However, if you prefer that our staff does not enter the room, if you wish to establish a non daily cleaning frequency we can work out your personalized cleaning planning before your arrival. Be ensured that we enforced and strengthened our cleaning protocols in order to ensure the health of our guests and employees. We increased cleaning frequency. We use products with disinfectant action against Covid19 recommended by WHO and the Italian Ministry of Health. Our staff observes strict hand hygiene and is required to change gloves after finishing room cleaning and each time guests’ linen is touched.

Cleaning and routine sanitization of the rooms during the stay and room sanitization at guests departure.

All non-essential furnishings such as runners, decorative pillows and carpets have been removed from the rooms. The items left in use for guests, such as the courtesy kit or the welcome kit of the café machines are all disposable and are changed at every departure. The coffee machines are cleaned and disinfected. The fridge is cleaned and disinfected.

Stopover: If guest stays more than one night (stopover), we provide daily thorough cleaning of all surfaces, with particular attention to those of greater contact and disinfection for longer stays. The floors of the rooms are washed and disinfected every day.

Departure: At each departure, the room and the bathroom and in particular all surfaces of major contact  are completely sanitized. We thoroughly air before starting cleaning to ensure the replacement and good air quality. In particular:

The room is aired 30 minutes before starting the cleaning. The cleaning is done by keeping the windows open. After cleaning, the room is aired for another 15 minutes.

The bathroom fittings and all accessories are washed and then disinfected with diluted sodium hypochlorite products. The floors are washed and disinfected with diluted sodium hypochlorite products.

Surfaces that may have come into contact with the guest, such as lamps, buttons, TVs, remote controls, are cleaned at the guests departure with detergents and then disinfected with products based on 70% alcohol, 0.5% hydrogen peroxide, or Quaternary Ammonium Compounds (QACs) in accordance with the protocols of the Ministry of Health and WHO.

Our staff is instructed to use special care in the removal of rubbish and dirty linen, which must be closed immediately in the appropriate bags and removed from the room. Before touching clean linen and making beds, staff members are required to change gloves after washing their hands thoroughly.

The air conditioning system is sanitized weekly cleaning the filters with the use of disinfectant products.

You don’t want our staff to enter in your room? Choose our privacy option.

If you wish you can request the privacy option at check-in.  In this case our staff will not perform room cleaning during your stay. Services such as changing towels and bed linen as well as the collection of garbage will be carried out according to agreement and without the staff entering the room. However, we would like to inform our kind guests that we enforced and strengthened our cleaning protocols. We increased cleaning frequency. We use products with disinfectant action against Covid19 recommended by WHO and the Italian Ministry of Health. Our staff observes strict hand hygiene and is required to change gloves after finishing room cleaning, picking up the garbage and each time guests’ linen is touched.

STAY SAFE: safety guidelines and hygienic measurements and products.

 Sanitize, clean, disinfect:

To ensure the safety of our guests and employees, we have been enforcing additional safety procedures during COVID-19 Pandemic. According to the regulations in force, sanitization is defined as the complex of procedures and operations of cleaning and/or disinfection and maintenance of good air quality. We thoroughly clean, disinfect, and ventilate the rooms after each departure. There are three fixed points to ensure a safe and cleaned environment:

Carefully cleaning of surfaces, objects, etc. with water and neutral detergents;

Cleaning with water and detergents is effective in removing dirt from surfaces and reduces the amount of virus present on surfaces and objects.

disinfect with approved disinfectant products;

The risk of exposure is further reduced if surfaces and objects are cleaned using authorised disinfectants (PMCs or biocides) against Covid19. Frequent and regular disinfection of high-contact points is of the utmost importance.

Always ensure adequate ventilation and air exchange.

We ensure adequate ventilation of the rooms before and after cleaning and frequently in the common areas. The air conditioning system is sanitized weekly cleaning the filters with the use of disinfectant products.

We use products with disinfectant action against Covid19 recommended by WHO and the Italian Ministry of Health: sodium hypochlorite at 0.1% (commonly known as bleach), ethanol at 70% (i.e. alcohol), 0.5% hydrogen peroxide, Quaternary Ammonium Compounds (QACs) (e.g. BAC (Benzalkonium Chloride) and DDAC (Dialkyldimethylammonium Chloride).

Disinfection products in use based on treated surfaces:

1. Stone, metal, glass or clear parquet surfaces: Neutral detergent and disinfectant – sodium hypochlorite 0,1 %.

2. Wooden surfaces: Neutral detergent and disinfectant – ethanol based (70 %), 0.5% hydrogen peroxide or Quaternary Ammonium Compounds (QACs).

3. Facilities (sanitary facilities, taps, tiles and bathroom floors, shower cubicle, bath): Cleaning with detergent and disinfection with at least 0.5% sodium hypochlorite (Bleach).

4. Soft and porous fabrics (Curtains, fabric sofas, armchairs, bed heads): treatment with high temperature vaporization process and 0.5% hydrogen peroxide, or quaternary ammonium mixtures .

Whirlpools

We guarantee the correct maintenance and proper chlorine disinfection of the hot tubs. After each use the tubs are sanitized (cleaned and disinfected) with 0.5 % sodium hypochlorite (bleach) products. The floor is sanitized with water and 0.1 % sodium hypochlorite (bleach).

We inform our customers that we keep ourselves constantly updated about risks and prevention measures by consulting the dedicated sites of the Ministry of Health, the Upper Institute of Health and WHO. Based on known evidence, water intended for human consumption is safe with respect to the transmission risks of COVID-19. To date, the virus has never been detected in water intended for human consumption. 

Correct operation, maintenance and proper disinfection of whirlpools with products based on those that ensure the inactivation of the virus that causes COVID-19.
